My Words

My child
My words
that
I have given you
whether
written or spoken
that you share
with those around you
and those
you serve
joyfully
whether
listened to
or read
have
the inbuilt ability
to change
and
impact
these lives
forever

The words that I speak to you they are spirit and they are life, - John 6:63

Darkness?

The lighting seemed insufficient to produce a good photograph of this Mallard Duck however, the silhouette captured a great message: even in seeming darkness, never underestimate the power of light to affect the overall picture.

Heavenly Father, for the light You have placed in us, that we now share with those around us, we are truly grateful,
in Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Even in darkness I cannot hide from You. To You the night shines as bright as day. - Psalm 139:12

My Voice

Precious children, you have heard, recognized, and responded to My voice of hope, comfort, and grace. Many are waiting to hear the same voice from Me, their caring Shepherd.
Today, as we together serve those I have called you to, you will be to them, My voice of hope, comfort, and grace. I have chosen you for this from the beginning.

Heavenly Father, for the privilege of presenting Your voice on earth, we are grateful,
in Jesus’ name, Amen.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me … you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. -
John 10:27; John 15:16

Forgetting The Past

According to author Sandy MacGregor, our subconscious mind "has the ability to record and remember every incident that it experiences."1 This may be one of the reasons why sometimes we have difficulty forgetting our sin. Whatever the past sin is that we are trying to forget, somehow, the memory not only lingers, but hinders our relationship with God, and hinders us from living our God given “abundant life.”
However, we do have a hope ... precious promises from the pages of Scripture:  “If you confess your sins, I will forgive them and cleanse you from everything you've done wrong.”2  "For I am merciful.  I will not be angry with you forever3 ... I will never again remember your sins."4   “I am ready to forgive all those who call upon Me.” 5  I - yes I alone will blot out your sins for My own sake and will never think of them again.”6
Those words have inbuilt thought changing power to help us move, and to live beyond guilt. I dared to believe them and they have changed my life. If you need forgiveness, will you allow them to change your life also?

My Prayer For You

That you will not be afraid because God has not given you the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. That you will know that He loves you with an everlasting love. That you will understand how precious you are in His sight. That you will experience His peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. This is my prayer for you today, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
